You don't inherit the ability to lead you acquire it by taking an in depth look at yourself. Leadership is about giving it your best, to accomplish what you set out to do and have the willing obedience, confidence, loyalty, and the respect of those around you.

This is what drives me to accomplish what I set out to do.
Goals to Accomplish
The following list represents my list of goals (in no particular order) I hope to accomplish that will enhance the standard of living in our communities.
- Promote regional and local education and work initiatives to insure there will be an adequately trained Tribal labor force.
- Work with the Economic Development Corporations to retain and create non-gaming jobs.
- Hold public hearings to address long term community development needs.
- Identify sites suitable for the expansion of existing business and start-up of new businesses and a business incubation center.
- Develop a downtown district to be a more viable economic hub within the core community of Peshawbestown.
- Develop the downtown district and community to be walkable, esthetical, and inviting.
- Develop and open a centralized service facility for the membership including a health clinic, pharmacy, and other medical professions center.
- Develop Community Planning Commissions so each community develops their own goals and objectives.
- Work to assure an open government operation is instilled and adhered and that membership is provided fair opportunity to be heard on matters of the Tribe.
- To develop Community Master Plans for each community.
- To develop a Capital Improvements Plan to assist in planning and development of needed infrastructure and how it will be funded in the future.
- To enact an updated Zoning and Development Ordinance.
- To develop and enact an Infrastructure Design and Construction Standards Manual.
- Increase and strengthen our cultural activities and environment, increase our Native American and Tribal Arts and museum programs, and cultural education programs including an initiative to further record the history and people of our Tribe.
- To adopt Business Feasibility Studies for our commercial areas so we have something to strive and plan for.
- Work with housing to develop more affordable housing for low and moderate income Tribal members where it is needed and reduce the waiting list.
- Increase the quality of housing construction and development so it looks more community and residential oriented.
- Develop higher standard Elders developments and complexes that are less institutional in appearance and provide for safe and independent living.
- Encourage businesses to utilize services from a Tribal Work Force Development program to provide jobs and job training for the membership.
- Develop a strategy to replace and upgrade outdated utilities such as the water system in Peshawbestown to make more and better business opportunities and create permanent jobs and provide adequate fire protection for our assets.
- Initiate a Downtown Development Plan to provide better amenities to tourist and shoppers and provide them with the basic necessities they need to remain in the community longer.
- Develop and provide better quality communities that resemble a stronger community by providing curbs, sidewalks, treelawns, street lighting, and underground utilities.
- Develop and enact a strategic plan to reduce the speed limit through Peshawbestown.
- To implement a Council annual community tour for each service area to assist with future community needs assessments.
